Biography

Vanessa Vinje is a Partner with Everett Dorey where she specializes in complex civil litigation with an emphasis in habitability, mold, lead poisoning, carbon monoxide poisoning, environmental toxic tort, and personal injury cases. Vanessa is a seasoned litigator in complex and challenging cases and has obtained favorable verdicts, including defense verdicts. She is an elected member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”), a highly respected national advocacy group dedicated to the preservation of the right to trial by jury. Vanessa is also a MACRO Certified Mold Inspector.

Vanessa began her legal career as a secretary, quickly transitioning to paralegal, and graduated cum laude from Western State College of Law. During law school, she participated in Western State's mock trial competition team where she gained valuable trial skills through mentorship of practicing lawyers. Vanessa also clerked with the Orange County Public Defender's Office where she participated in arraignments and motion practice. Due to her work with the OCPD's office, Vanessa earned recognition at graduation for exemplary public service. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Fresno Pacific University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science.  

Out of the office, Vanessa enjoys spending her spare time with her family exploring their local surroundings and watching documentaries.
