Biography

Shirley Jamneshan is a Partner at Everett Dorey where she specializes in various areas of law including multi-party civil litigation within the fields of construction, property damage, premise liability, business transactions and litigation, transportation, catastrophic injury, products liability, and insurance. She specializes in complex multi-party civil litigation with a primary focus on general litigation matters. Shirley has also acted as counsel in numerous multi-million dollar residential and commercial construction matters. 

Shirley has represented ridesharing companies, Fortune 500 companies, several of California’s largest publicly-held and privately-held builders, real estate developers, contractors, construction managers and design professionals and small business owners. She has extensive experience in all aspects of the litigation process and has played vital roles on defense teams in multimillion-dollar jury trials. She has prepared dozens of cases for trial and has played a crucial part in the successful presentation and resolution of those cases during trial.

As a prior owner of a small restaurant, Shirley has drawn from this experience to bring a unique perspective to her practice.  In every case, she creates a thoughtful resolution strategy catered to achieve the best results for her clients. Shirley regularly practices in state and federal court. 

Shirley is a graduate of Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While in law school, Shirley was Vice President of the Moot Court.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Political Science. 

Out of the office, Shirley enjoys spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, traveling, going to music concerts and volunteering at her children’s schools when possible.
