Biography
Nicholas Klein is an attorney at Everett Dorey, where he focuses his practice on habitability, premises liability, general liability, and complex litigation.
Nicholas earned his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Nevada. He is a Nevada native born and raised in the state. He is active in the community and is a leader in Everett Dorey's Nevada office.
During law school, Nicholas gained legal experience through serving as a Judicial Extern for the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, a volunteer with the Cuyahoga County Law Department, and a research assistant for Thomson Reuter’s Tort Law, 2d (Baldwin’s Ohio Practice). Nicholas also gained practical legal experience working on civil rights matters with the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic, criminal defense with the Clark County Public Defender’s Office, and tax matters at the Internal Revenue Service - Office of Chief Counsel. Nicholas received the Pro Bono Service Award and Global Impact Award, as well as a Legal Research Certification and Mediation Training Certification in law school.
Since law school, Nicholas has continued to demonstrate a strong commitment to service and the legal community. He has handled two Nevada Court of Appeals cases with the Legal Aid Society of Southern Nevada, assisted in drafting the specialization standards for the Appellate Litigation Section of the State Bar of Nevada, and has served on the board of directors for multiple local non-profit organizations.
