Biography

Courtney is a Senior Counsel at Everett Dorey with extensive experience in civil litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, complex litigation, insurance coverage, and appellate work.

Courtney earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Clayton State University. During her undergraduate studies, Courtney was a member of the Honors Program, appeared on the Dean’s List, and received the Foundation Scholarship and Hope Grant Scholarship. She also participated in the Harvard Model United Nations

Courtney has substantial experience representing clients in civil litigation matters, including serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County, Georgia, and operating her own firm, Dolan Law Group, Ltd., for over fourteen years. She has served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge John S. McGroarty in the Nevada Eighth Judicial District Court. Her notable recognitions include being named among the Top 25 Motor Vehicle Injury Lawyers in Nevada and Top 50 Personal Injury Law Lawyers in Nevada by the National Trial Lawyers Association, as well as Top 100 Lawyers in Nevada. Courtney was featured on WCOBM, KTNV Channel 13 news, and asked to appear on Arts and Entertainment Network and ESPN 1100 AM for her appellate work on the high-profile 2008 OJ Simpson Palace Station case.

Courtney is proficient in Spanish and has volunteered with Legal Aid of Southern Nevada and Nevada Legal Services since 2005.
