Everett Dorey Partners Samantha Dorey and James Truxaw recently co-authorized an article in the Orange County Lawyer, the official publication of the Orange County Bar Association, discussing the importance of disclosing the use of AI in legal research and writing: Duty to Disclose the Use of AI in Legal Research and Writing: “Was this Drafted Using artificial Intelligence (AI)?”.
After a week of preliminary rounds, eight standout 1L students advanced to the Everett Dorey LLP – 1L Moot Court Competition finals, where they argued their cases in front of a panel of esteemed judges: the Hon. Erick L. Larsh, the Hon. Linda Marks, and Seymour B. Everett III, founding partner of Everett Dorey LLP. Every finalist brought thoughtful preparation, poise, and passion to the courtroom, and impressed a panel of veteran litigators with their expert presentations.
